Seedance 2.0 Mini, from ByteDance, is purchasable on 11 of the 13 routes we track. One 10s 720p t2v clip, no audio costs $0.2288 at APIMart, the cheapest published rate we can cite. The first-party route, BytePlus ModelArk, is $0.30 for the same clip. Some of these rates are a promotion running to 2026-09-07; the board marks which, and the list price behind it sits beside them.
This is the cost tier of Seedance 2.0, not a different model: the same multimodal inputs and the same native audio, with resolution given up for the saving. 480p and 720p are the only outputs, where 2.0 also sells 1080p and 4K, so it suits drafts, variants and prompt tests rather than a finished shot.
The figure above buys one 10s 720p t2v clip, no audio. The board below prices 2 units in all, each column named. Figures come from each seller's own published rates and carry the date we last read them.
Which route should you take
Each row is the table above read for one question, at the unit named beside the price. Rows marked our call are editorial judgement instead, and appear only where we have something specific to say.
Each column is one unit, and every price in it buys the same thing. The figures quoted elsewhere on this page are one 10s 720p t2v clip, no audio. That is a baseline for comparing providers, not a quote. What you are actually billed depends on the settings you send, and on some routes on how much you top up at once. Every figure is the provider's own published price; anything we derived rather than read off a price list is marked est.Seedance 2.0 Mini generates audio, but the clip compared here is silent. Where a provider publishes no silent rate, the pricing note under the board says so.
8 providers tracked · sorted by status, then price
Things that change what you pay without changing a price on this board. None of them is applied to the figures above: what one unit costs at the posted rate is a number anyone can check, and what it costs after a bonus depends on how much you buy at once.
kie.ai · top-up bonus · 10%
Credit bonus on a top-up, depending on how much is bought at once. kie.ai
kie.ai · term
Limited-time discount on Seedance 2.0 Mini, which kie.ai says runs until September 7, 06:00 UTC. The rates above are the discounted ones; no list rate is published beside them. kie.ai
How these prices were read
How each figure above was read off the provider's own price list, and what that price list does not say.
BytePlus ModelArk
The worked examples on the page are quoted at list price. The columns here apply the limited-time discount, which is what the model costs to run today; the list price behind each one is on the board beside it.
Volcengine
Published in CNY and not converted to the priced clip: a conversion needs a dated exchange rate, and we do not publish one.
Replicate
One flat rate per resolution, with no discount attached and no expiry date on it, which is not true of the first-party routes.
EvoLink
Credits are quoted with a dollar equivalent on the same row, so no credit rate has to be assumed.
APIMart
Credits are quoted with a dollar equivalent on the same row. The plain resolution rows are the text-to-video route; the "uploaded videos" rows bill link time plus generation time.
CometAPI
CometAPI has no page of its own for this version; the rate is one row of the Seedance 2.0 rate card.
kie.ai
The rates here are a limited-time discount kie.ai says runs until September 7, 06:00 UTC. It publishes no list rate behind them, so there is nothing to show for what these routes cost once the discount ends.
fal.ai
The model id is bytedance/seedance-2-mini rather than the seedance-2.0-mini other routes use.
Seedance 2.0 Mini pricing trapsTwo things on this board are not what they look like. The first-party rates are a promotion with a date on it, and the board marks which figures carry one and shows the list price behind them, so read the expiry before you budget: $0.30 is the promotional 720p clip. The second is the one Seedance 2.0 has as well: supplying a reference video moves you onto a formula billed on input + output seconds rather than output alone, so a lower posted rate can still cost more. Every figure on this board is a text-to-video price with no video input.

4 consumer apps sell Seedance 2.0 Mini
These are not API routes. Most of these sell a month of the whole app, and where a figure is shown it is that subscription and not the price of one Seedance 2.0 Mini generation. We record one thing per app: the cheapest plan that unlocks this model, at its monthly-billing rate, and the date we checked. What a generation costs inside a plan is not published anywhere, and dividing a plan by its allowance would invent it.
The model id carries an app name on both first-party surfaces (dreamina-seedance-2-0-mini on BytePlus, doubao-seedance-2.0-mini on Volcengine). That is ByteDance’s naming convention for the API, not a statement that Dreamina or Jimeng exposes this version to their own users, and we have not confirmed that either app does.
Mini is unlocked by the same plan as Seedance 2.0, which on Syntx is the only plan there is. The plan list is visible only when signed in, so the figure is what the plans page showed on the date beside it. The figure is the monthly-billing price, not the lower per-month rate an annual plan advertises, so it is comparable with the other apps here. No per-generation cost is published and we do not derive one: a plan divided by an allowance is an invented price.
Higgsfield
Mini is unlocked by the same tier as Seedance 2.0, so the entry Starter plan reaches it and Plus is not needed. The figure is the monthly-billing price, not the lower per-month rate an annual plan advertises, so it is comparable with the other apps here. No per-generation cost is published and we do not derive one: a plan divided by an allowance is an invented price.
Magnific
Mini is unlocked by the same tier as Seedance 2.0, which on Magnific is the one paid plan. Seedance 2.5 remains the exception on this platform, and is not in the model list at all. The figure is the monthly-billing price, not the lower per-month rate an annual plan advertises, so it is comparable with the other apps here. No per-generation cost is published and we do not derive one: a plan divided by an allowance is an invented price.
Dreamina
Dreamina lists Seedance 2.0 Mini in its model navigation and gives it a product page of its own, alongside 2.0 and 2.5. What it costs in credits sits behind a login, so there is no figure to quote. Earlier notes here said the app named 2.5 only, and then that it named 2.5 and 2.0 but not Mini. Both were wrong.
Jimeng
Model selection and daily credit costs are only visible behind a mainland China account, so no figure can be quoted.
These sell 10s / 720p / t2v / no audio too, so their figures on the index can be read against this one. Models that do not are shown with their own unit instead.
When to reach for another model
Mini caps out at 720p. When a job needs 4K, that is Seedance 2.0, the only one of the three that outputs it; 1080p is on both 2.0 and Seedance 2.5. When it needs a clip longer than fifteen seconds, that is Seedance 2.5, which runs to thirty. Everything else about the three is the same family of inputs and native audio, so the choice is a ceiling rather than a different tool.
Corrected the pointer to the rest of the family: 1080p is no longer unique to Seedance 2.0 now that 2.5 outputs it, so 4K is what sets 2.0 apart.
Consumer subscriptions added: Syntx at $17.96 a month, Higgsfield from $19, Magnific at $20. Each unlocks this version on the same tier that unlocks Seedance 2.0. We record only the cheapest plan that unlocks the model and no per-generation cost, which none of them publishes.
Model added and the board priced from provider price lists. Six API routes quote a public dollar rate; Volcengine publishes its rate in CNY per million tokens and is left unconverted, and fal.ai has the model behind an early-access request with no rate published. ByteDance publishes no English spec page for this version, so the capability table is read off the parameter references at kie.ai, EvoLink and Replicate.
ByteDance opened a limited-time discount on Seedance 2.0 Mini: 40% of the list price at both 480p and 720p, from 14:00 UTC+8 on August 7 to 14:00 UTC+8 on September 7, 2026. The first-party figures on this page are the discounted ones, and the list price behind them is in the pricing note.
Seedance 2.0 Mini released, the cost tier of Seedance 2.0. Same multimodal inputs and native audio, capped at 720p. ByteDance's own model id carries the release date: dreamina-seedance-2-0-mini-260615.
